About the Job
Machine Service, Inc. is a leader in the manufacturing of drive shafts and components. The company has over 75 years of experience in the driveline business, serving large OEM's as well as industrial accounts and small driveline repairs. We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized Engineer for a customer-facing sales role. The ideal candidate has a background in the field of mechanical engineering.
Job Location: Green Bay, WI – In person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Negotiable-commensurate with experience
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform project management duties from quote to shipment.
- Work with other outside & inside sales representatives to support customers.
- Create customer proposals supported with drawings and technical documentation.
- Provide Engineering support directly to the customer.
- Work with customer and internal team to develop custom solutions for powertrain applications.
- Follow up on customer orders and provide updates to customers.
- Use CloudSuite Industrial ERP software to perform job functions such as quotes, item Bom's, customer orders, job orders, shipping, and invoicing.
Qualifications
- The individual will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A BSME is preferred but not required with adequate mechanical engineering background.
- CAD and Modeling experience a plus.
- This is a technical sales position requiring understanding of engineering dynamics.
- Training for advancement opportunities will be provided.
