We are currently seeking dedicated Automotive Machine Operators for all shifts at a top-tier supplier for BMW in Spartanburg, SC. These full-time, permanent roles offer competitive compensation, with 1st shift starting at $17.50 per hour and 2nd or 3rd shifts at $19.50 per hour, plus significant overtime potential. Shift Details and Expectations
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 5:45 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
- Due to high production demand, the facility operates 6 to 7 days weekly, requiring full availability for mandatory overtime and weekend shifts.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee advanced equipment to help ensure the consistent output of premium automotive components.
- Adhere to detailed operational guidelines to help the team reach daily production goals.
- Ensure all items are correctly labeled and tagged during the manufacturing cycle.
- Securely package completed parts into appropriate shipping containers to protect product integrity.
- Conduct standard equipment upkeep to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean work area and promptly report any technical concerns to your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of verifiable experience operating machinery within an automotive or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated mechanical proficiency, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Physical capacity to remain standing for extended durations and safely handle heavy materials.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, with technical training considered an asset.
- High level of precision and the ability to maintain performance standards in a fast-paced environment.
Screening and Compliance
- Successful completion of a thorough drug screening and background investigation is mandatory.
- Full dedication to maintaining the rigorous safety and quality benchmarks established by BMW.
Technical Proficiencies
- Possession of a valid forklift license.
- Ability to perform equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols.
- Competency in performing equipment repairs and routine maintenance.

- Functional knowledge of basic computer systems.
