Role Description This full-time, on-site Epoxy Installer role is based in Erin, TN and is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing concrete surfaces by grinding and repairing cracks, as well as mixing and applying epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic coatings according to company standards. The role involves setting up and breaking down equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and assisting with flake broadcasting, topcoat application, and curing processes. Team members will follow detailed instructions, adhere to safety guidelines, and help load and unload materials and tools. Installers may also interact with customers on-site, answer basic questions about the installation process, and support the crew lead in completing projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic construction or trade-related tasks, including using hand tools, power tools, and floor preparation equipment.
- Capability to work on concrete surfaces, including grinding, patching, and cleaning, and to follow technical application procedures for coatings.
- Strong commitment to safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety policies.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and work in varying temperatures and conditions.
- Basic communication skills for interacting with team members and customers in a professional, respectful manner.
- Willingness to learn epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic installation techniques; previous flooring or construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to the Erin, TN job site; eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; military experience or familiarity with disciplined work environments is beneficial.
