Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Estimator based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive project cost estimates. Key tasks include analyzing electrical project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and ensuring effective cost control. The role requires estimating costs for materials, labor, and equipment for electrical systems within construction projects, as well as maintaining thorough documentation and clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Estimating with a strong understanding of cost estimation for projects
- Proficient in Accubid or estimating software
- Background in Cost Control and budgeting to ensure projects stay within financial goals
- Experience with Electrical Contracting and knowledge of industry standards
- Comprehensive understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Previous construction industry experience is a plus
