Paralegal

Overview

MacGillis Law Group, LLC is looking for a full-time experienced Paralegal to join our growing personal injury team.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing all aspects of a case from intake to resolution and independently moving files forward
• Communicating with clients, insurance companies, medical offices, and other parties related to a case
• Collecting all necessary documentation and evidence related to a claim, including medical and liability records
• Drafting correspondence and demands and requesting records and handling subrogation
• Collaborating with attorneys regarding case strategy and settlement

Applicants should possess the following skills:

• 3 - 5 years personal injury experience
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate professionally with clients and legal professionals
• High level of attention to detail in writing, proofreading, and editing
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting

Salary: $ 55,000 - $85,000

Salary to commensurate with experience and will be determined in part by the qualifications of the selected candidate.
