Job Title: Church Nursery Attendant
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (3 hours/week)
Location: Macedonia Global Methodist Church
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and nurturing Church Nursery Attendant to care for infants , toddlers and children during Sunday morning services. The ideal candidate will create a safe, loving, and engaging environment for young children while maintaining professionalism and clear communication with parents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children in the church nursery
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Comfort, feed, and change diapers as needed
- Engage children with age-appropriate toys, books, and activities
- Maintain accurate sign-in/sign-out procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents and church staff
- Follow emergency procedures and church policies
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with infants and toddlers preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and provide references
- Ability to work independently and with a team
