Electrical Apprentice/Journeyman

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman and become a vital contributor to diverse electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and renovation sites. Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical components and systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in renovation projects by removing old wiring and installing new electrical infrastructure.
• Support the use of schematics and technical drawings for precise installation work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic understanding of hand tools and electrical concepts (helpful but not required)
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions (heat, outdoors, ladders, attics)
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Ability to work safely and follow job site safety rules
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in an electrical apprenticeship program (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred; ability to work at multiple job sites as needed. Join us in powering the future!
