  • Support quality improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, risk reduction, mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke), and implementation of sustainable corrective and preventable actions.
  • Participate in customer complaint investigations and OCAP activities by collecting and analyzing quality data, supporting root cause investigations, tracking corrective actions, and assisting in the preparation of investigation reports and response packages.
  • Create and Update Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions that reflect best practices and adherence to QMS and ISO/IATF as well as customer specific requirements.
  • Plan and perform Quality Systems and other types of Internal Audits aimed at QMS improvement and adherence to the ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 Standard requirements.
  • Contribute to developing management KPI’s for tracking improvement progress.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure Corrective Action and 8-D reports are linked to Process and Product FMEA’s and that FMEA’s are reviewed and updated as required.
  • Utilize quality and business systems including Minitab, Complaint Pro, Intelex, JDE, WinLIMS, and Microsoft Office Suite to analyze data, support investigations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Customer Quality system audits and third-party surveillance audits
  • Analyze and report key quality metrics to the QA Manager and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, or a related technical role within a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 standards.
  • Familiarity with lab software, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable learning tools such as Minitab, JDE, and Quality Management Software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage recurring tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently on day-to-day activities while collaborating closely with senior quality staff.
