Job Overview
The MACCS team is seeking a Mobile Health Technician. The candidate must have office experience with a current driver's license and access to a vehicle Monday through Friday, 8:30-3:30. They must have a strong attendance record and be punctual. Proficient in Excel and able to provide all necessary clearances (FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse, and PA Criminal certificates.)
Administrative Duties:
- Reliable attendance and strict adherence to scheduled work hours are required.
- Driver’s license and personal vehicle mandatory
- Clearances required (Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI fingerprint)
- Computer proficient, especially in Excel.
- Use the Daily Sign-In book to record your signature, date, time of arrival and departure from each school visited as well as our Time-Keeper program.
- Proper attire required; nursing scrubs (top and bottom) with nursing shoes or sneakers.
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, flexible, and team oriented.
Clinical Duties:
- Perform mandated screenings and complete related documentation.
- Data entry to Healthy eTools and eSchools Plus medical records software programs.
- Assist with copying, filing, faxing, and mailing health-related documents.
- Assist with immunization surveillance and updates to student records as needed.
- Assist with retrieval of immunization data from KIDS Registry and other known sources.
- Assist with other health office activities as needed.
Requirements:
- In person Monday through Friday, 8:30-3:30, throughout Philadelphia
- Attendance and punctuality is imperative
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a health-related field or customer service industry
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities that require walking, stooping, standing, stairs, and handling of materials
- Computer skills mandatory for data management
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding client, employee and company proprietary information.
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with clients, vendors, partners and employees at all levels
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle ownership or access to a vehicle
- Clearances: Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI Fingerprints
