Finance Controller
“MacCo” MacCormack Plumbing and Heating is seeking a Finance Controller to join our well-established company.
This role will oversee all accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must be detail-oriented, combining strong technical accounting expertise with a practical understanding of construction operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting, finance and insurance operations for the company
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Oversee project accounting, job costing, AIA billing, lien waivers and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting
- Collaborate with project managers and operational leaders to monitor project financial performance
- Manage annual insurance audits and renewals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8 years of progressive accounting/controller experience
- Prior Controller or accounting leadership experience required
- Construction industry experience required
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting
- Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- CPA preferred but not required
- Structure/CF Data and ServiceTitan knowledge is a plus
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
