Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of the MacCallum House Inn and Suites, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring integrity and appearance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during cleaning sessions.
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote a safe and hygienic environment.
- Handle janitorial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, waste disposal, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling and coordinating cleaning activities for optimal efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and equipment operation.
- Prior experience with carpet cleaning or specialized floor care is a plus.
