What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Drafter, you will:
- Develop and modify mechanical equipment and industrial component designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Create detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing and production
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and other team members to develop practical design solutions
- Identify and resolve technical and mechanical design challenges
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and customer requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Drafting or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanical drafting/design experience
- Experience with industrial equipment or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and commitment to quality workmanship
Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $55,000 – $65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Location: In-person
Experience Required: 3 years of mechanical drafting experience
