Objective

This position will perform mechanical services on compact construction equipment. This includes but not limited to the troubleshooting, repairing, and inspection of equipment.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned
• Maintains customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met
• Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition
• Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in shop area
• Maintains equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years or more of experience with Heavy Equipment or Compact Construction Equipment
  
  

Preferred

• Associates in related technical field (Diesel Technology)
• 4 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment and Compact Construction Equipment
