Maintenance Technician
Macae Fidelity Property Management
Macae Fidelity is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of assigned apartment communities by completing service requests, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and property repairs.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform apartment turns, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and make-ready tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, and carpentry issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and common areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including grounds, parking lots, and amenities.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls when assigned.
- Ensure vacant units are rent-ready according to company standards.
- Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and upload photos when required.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, management, and team members while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general carpentry.
- HVAC certification is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
