INVENTORY/STOCKER

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload shipments.
• Organize and stock shelves with merchandise, maintaining proper placement according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies, damaged goods, or misplaced items, utilizing inventory management systems.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries.
• Support store operations through stocking produce, retail items, and grocery products while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and proper packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting team members with product location or stock-related inquiries.
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-presented to enhance sales appeal.
• Collaborate with team members across departments such as cashiering, maintenance, and retail sales to ensure seamless store operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members in multiple languages if bilingual skills are possessed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly, stand for extended periods, and engage in repetitive movements required in stocking tasks.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate stock counting and pricing adjustments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
