Duties
- Receive incoming shipments by unloading truck verifying shipment accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements, update stock levels, and ensure precise inventory control.
- Stock shelves neatly and efficiently, organizing products according to merchandising standards and store layout plans.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse by performing routine maintenance, cleaning work areas, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with packaging products for shipment or display, supporting shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely dispatches.
- Support retail sales efforts by replenishing stock on the sales floor, providing excellent customer service, and communicating effectively with team members in multiple languages if applicable.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with retail stocking procedures is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and product placement.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer needs.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail math can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
