Manufacturing Process Engineer - Wixom, Michigan

We are searching for an individual who would like to join our process engineering department, primarily focused on our manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on floor support position involved with supporting manufacturing groups and processes to create the large variety of products that MAC Valves produces.
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Minimum 2 or 4 year degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical technology, robotics, or equivalent
- Proficient with computers
- Willing to learn both newer and older software
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD software - Solidworks or equivalent
- Experience with programming languages - G Code, Fanuc, or similar
- Ability to investigate & analyze problems to provide viable solutions
Responsibilities :
This hands-on position in the Manufacturing Process Engineering department consists of the following responsibilities:
New Product Launch
Optimization of product manufacturing
Release of fixtures and tooling
Creation and release of associated new product launch documentation
Machine acquisition
Existing Products
Assembly / Manufacturing Support
Products & process troubleshooting
Efficiency improvements
Process & product improvements
Design Opportunities
Machine Fixturing and Tooling Design
Automation Design & Programming
