We are excited to be adding a Sales Representative to the MAC Trailer Team. Our Sales Representative to sell spare and replacement parts and equipment as well as merchandise in the parts store.

Wage Range: ($40,000.00 - $50,000.00)

What you will do:

  • Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while performing related assignments.
  • Review inventory documentation and information related to assignments to assure product is delivered to and from inventory control accurately and within guidelines process.
  • Perform assignment of work to contribute to material, parts and product that are being produced according to MAC Manufacturing’s quality and quantity standards while supporting a safe environment
  • Perform, understand, comprehend, and communicate basic math functions primarily related to measurement, piece count, and inventory control.
  • Communicate issues of concern to inventory and production management and any other pertinent information which effect the productive completion of quality product, schedule of product and safety.
  • Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.
  • Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
  • Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
  • Take inventory of stock.
  • Ability to work outside in all seasons of weather.
  • Clean and keep organized the area in which you work during and at the end of the shift.
  • Organize and restock needed parts and materials.
  • Assist other employees, as needed and instructed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Selective Attention- the ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
  • Able to work any shift based on production need.
  • Ability to read and interpret, and comprehend, detailed drawings, specifications, measurements, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work alone or as a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow direction.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Tractor Trailer Building or knowledge is preferred.
  • Inventory experience or knowledge is preferred.
  • Previous sales/retail experience is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing related field is preferred

Physical Demands

  • Near Vision- the ability to see details at close range while reviewing inventory information.
  • Manual Dexterity- the ability to grasp and manipulate small and large items
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift various materials. Aluminum, steel and parts
  • Must be able to maneuver self in order to view safe operation of load and obstructions of material and/or pedestrians.
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully maneuver, lift, and climb, in similar or same work environment as required for the position or job duty being considered for.
