Role Description
This role is based in Plano, TX, for a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized training programs to optimize athletic performance, facilitate injury prevention, and support overall strength and conditioning goals. The coach will work directly with athletes across various age groups and performance levels, monitor their progress, and adjust training strategies based on specific needs and performance metrics. Additional duties may involve educating athletes on proper training techniques and fostering a positive, motivating training environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training
- Experience in improving Athletic Performance and conducting Sports Science-based evaluations
- Knowledge of Injury Prevention strategies and techniques
- Excellent skills in communication, leadership, and interpersonal interaction
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Certification with a nationally recognized body such as NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, or ACSM (preferred)
- Experience working with athletes of various skill levels is an advantage
- Ability to adapt and tailor training methods for individual needs
