The Safety Manager will plan, implement, and oversee workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risk. The role will develop and deliver safety training, maintain safety documentation, and lead incident and accident investigations to determine root causes and preventive measures. Qualifications
- Strong background in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety, with experience applying best practices in an operational or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and safety management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in Safety Training, including developing materials and delivering engaging sessions for diverse audiences.
- Hands-on experience with Accident Investigation, including incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Familiarity with OSHA and other relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach team members at all levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Maiden, NC, and support field activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred; relevant experience and certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) are a plus.
