Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Experienced Dishwasher to join our team. Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Manually handle and wash items that cannot go through the dishwasher, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Maintain high standards of cleaning by regularly sanitizing workstations, sinks, and surrounding areas to promote a hygienic environment for food service.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in fast-paced dining.
- Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices is essential for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods.
- Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen operations are advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience with dishwashing equipment, kitchen cleaning routines, or hotel food service operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems ensures adherence to health standards at all times.
