Job Description
Mac's Speed Shop is a unique, family-friendly, Carolina barbecue restaurant that uses award-winning cooking methods to create unbelievable BBQ served in a fun, high-energy environment. We've created an atmosphere for all (White Collar, Blue Collar, No Collar) to enjoy with BBQ, Live Music and Events, Cold Beverages and even a few bikes and classic cars here and there!
We are looking for experienced and passionate Servers to join our FOH staff team.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Great “first” impression everyday
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- Make the restaurant a place you would like to eat by keeping it clean and friendly
- Communicate regularly with your tables and anticipate their needs
- Provide great service by regularly refilling drinks, clearing the table, and going above and beyond guest expectations
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
- Demonstrates teamwork
- Prepares all bases and garnishes for alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Maintains a safe working environment and report any safety issues to management immediately
You Need to be:
- Identifies and embraces/demonstrates our brand image = Great “first” impression everyday
- You are someone who knows how to deliver great service, and you have at least 1 year of experience at a high-volume restaurant to prove it.
- Excellent English communication skills are required, as is the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- You should be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
