Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tabs while maintaining efficient cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies to promote a safe environment.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and utensils, to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or nightclub functions.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; hospitality background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving laws.
• Experience in catering or food service environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly in various settings.
