At MAC’S Hardware, our Sales Associates are more than cashiers or stockers—they're trusted advisors who create outstanding shopping experiences and help customers find the right products for every project.
What You'll Do
- Welcome every customer with a friendly smile and provide exceptional service.
- Listen to customers' needs and recommend the right products and solutions.
- Build relationships by sharing product knowledge and project advice.
- Process sales, special orders, and customer inquiries accurately.
- Stock merchandise, replenish shelves, and create attractive product displays.
- Keep your department clean, organized, and ready for business.
- Assist customers with loading purchases when needed.
- Support inventory accuracy through stocking and cycle counts.
- Stay informed on new products, promotions, and seasonal merchandise.
- Work as part of a team to create an outstanding shopping experience every day.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and passion for helping others.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hardware, building materials, or home improvement products is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, phones, and email.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely on ladders and around merchandise.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
