Job Overview
Independently owned, upscale casual restaurant seeking an Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and motivate your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to develop your management skills within a hospitality-focused setting.
Benefits
- Reasonable hours 45-55 per week. Restaurant closes at 9:00 weekdays/9:30 weekends
- Work Schedule - 2 consecutive days off per week with 3rd week scheduled 4 consecutive days off.

Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management with assistant manager/key employee experience preferred
- Must be able to work lunch and dinner shifts
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels for optimal service delivery
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet safety and quality standards
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a positive dining experience
- Familiar with Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Experience in supervising teams, staff training, and managing hospitality operations in casual dining or fine dining environments
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food management processes
- Excellent managerial communication skills with a focus on team leadership and customer service excellence
- Demonstrated ability to handle shift management responsibilities efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Proficient in Word, Quickbooks and Excel
Pay: $55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
