Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Repair and calibrate Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and mechanical failures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Solid knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience working with ADAS technology is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical skills complemented by excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
