MAC Rx is seeking an AM Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team!
MAC Rx is one of the largest, independently owned long term care pharmacies in the Midwest and we are growing our Fulfillment Technician team! The primary purpose of this position is to manage the medication fulfillment process for our long term care pharmacy. The role for the Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician is to assist in pulling and filling medications for our residents, learning automation processes and working efficiently with other team members. We ensure the highest quality standards of practice for our long term care facilities.
Primary Duties
High school graduate or equivalent. Certified pharmacy technician is required.
This is an entry level position. Illinois Pharmacy Technician License is required and can be obtained through the state of Illinois.

Primary Duties
- Assist team in printing medication labels and pulling medications to be filled
- Assist in filling medications, hand fill or through one of our automation systems, the Accuflex or E3 machine
- Assist in filling, logging and toting/closing controlled medications
- Assist the pharmacist with PV2 override (PVT technicians only, training onsite!)
- Responsible for resolving all missing/backorder labels
- Responsible for helping supervisor close out batch
- Insure all orders are done according to operational workflow guidelines
- Prepare/tote/close orders to leave pharmacy for dispatch
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead
