MAC-IMPulse is the only U.S.-based manufacturer of Overhead Contact System (OCS) products — the catenary and contact-wire hardware that powers electrified light rail, streetcars, trolley buses, and high-speed rail across North America and Asia. Our reputation rests on engineering built to last for decades in safety-critical service. We're a specialized, mission-driven industry, and we don't need you to already know it — we need you to be able to lead in it.
Here's the problem we need you to solve:
Our engineering team needs a leader who can own design, validation, and manufacturing support at the same time, and who can turn a group of skilled individual engineers into a team that runs itself. You'll set the technical standards, mentor the people who'll eventually replace you, and be the person Sales, Operations, and customers call when something has to get right the first time — because in our industry, "close enough" isn't a category.
You don't need rail experience. You need to have already proven you can lead engineering in a manufacturing environment — DFMEA, prototype validation, tooling, BOMs, the real stuff — and be hungry to become the expert nobody else in the industry can claim to be.

You've built a team of engineers who trust you and want to stay. You've got a seat at the table with Sales and customers instead of just executing what they hand you.
