Position Overview
MAC Panel is seeking a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence in key high-reliability markets, with a primary focus on Aerospace & Defense. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth across a defined region.
Secondary market focus includes automotive/industrial and medical/semiconductor, with additional opportunities in emerging industries utilizing mass interconnect solutions.
This is a remote position requiring up to 50% travel to support customer engagement, onsite meetings, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration within the Aerospace & Defense sector (primary focus)
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned territory
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts
- Expand sales efforts into automotive/industrial and medical/semiconductor markets
- Identify and pursue opportunities in additional industries that can benefit from mass interconnect solutions
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates
- Represent MAC Panel at trade shows, conferences, and customer sites
- Provide market feedback to support product development and positioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of technical sales experience, preferably in:
- Aerospace & Defense (strongly preferred)
- Test systems, connectivity, or interconnect solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles
- Strong understanding of engineering-driven sales environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with mass interconnect systems, automated test equipment (ATE), or electronic test environments
- Experience working with OEMs, integrators, or defense contractors
- Exposure to regulated industries such as medical or semiconductor manufacturing
