What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at MAC Metal Sales?
Barren County Metal & Truss is currently seeking a motivated outside sales representative to join our team. The ideal candidate would have outside sales experience and proven sales success. Knowledge of building materials is a plus, but not required. Our customers are our top priority and thus someone who is outgoing and friendly is essential! Duties include but are not limited to;
*Service existing accounts, obtain product orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to create potential customers
*Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature while also possessing negotiating skills
*Keep management informed of all sales efforts including, but not limited to; successes and failures in report form
*Resolve customer complaints by critical thinking and trouble shooting
*Maintain a professional attitude and appearance as our sales representatives are the face of our company
*Collaborate and work as a team with other sales representatives to obtain new ideas and achieve company goals
*Assist with the training of newly hired sales representatives
