Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project specifications.
- Handle hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently during installation tasks.
- Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Prepare work areas by organizing materials and ensuring all necessary tools are available for plumbing tasks.
- Help with the assembly and installation of pipes, fixtures, and related mechanical components on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials when necessary.
- Support site supervisors by completing basic measurements, calculations, and documentation required for project progress.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as handyman work or remodeling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with construction plumbing techniques, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, or HVAC systems will be highly valued.
