Position Description: Front Desk Receptionist
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. This position reports directly to the Front Desk Supervisor.
This is a merit position with benefits, 35 hours per week, $12.50 per hour
Two (2) part-time positions may be considered.
Essential Functions:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs him or her to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff
- Process outgoing and incoming mail
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs basic recordkeeping.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Other Requirements:
- Criminal background check required prior to employment
- Valid driver’s license
