Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, tax, and corporate accounting. Knowledge of LIHTC, Excel, and financial software is highly desirable.
Duties
- Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to support overall financial operations
- Utilize Quicken or similar software for accounting tasks
Skills
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations
- Familiarity with financial report writing and analysis
- Understanding of corporate accounting principles
- Experience with financial software for accurate record keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Wills, Trusts, and Estate Law is a plus
