Lot Attendant / Valet Coordinator

As a Lot Attendant, you'll play an important role in keeping our dealership running smoothly by coordinating vehicle movement, maintaining an organized and safe lot, tracking inventory, and staging vehicles for sales and service. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help ensure efficient operations and an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle movement with building security to maintain controlled access to parking garage areas.
• Monitor and maintain the safe and efficient flow of vehicles entering and exiting the parking garage at all times.
• Track and document vehicle movement on and off garage lots, including the individual responsible for moving each vehicle.
• Assist with organizing garage inventory to maximize space, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
• Move, stage, and position vehicles according to dealership operational, inventory, and display needs.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic to promote a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with sales, service, management, and security personnel regarding vehicle locations and movement activity.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free parking garage and lot areas.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and operate vehicles responsibly at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Maintain positive customer interactions to build and maintain loyalty.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a valet or experience organizing an auto dealership lot is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual vehicles
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (Must be able to pass an MVR)
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
