Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Clerk position will ensure the timely valuation, processing, and intra-Company trading of vehicle inventory.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Receive and process posting jackets; distribute paperwork to appropriate business office staff.
• Post Accounting for our New Vehicle Invoices.
• Posting accounting for outside, as well as inter-company Dealer Trades
• Report our Sales and other notifications to the Manufacture
• Verify accuracy, confirm and record legal owner, and request applicable follow-ups before distributing DMV paperwork to DMV clerks.
• Mail Dealer Notice of Report of Sale to DMV.
• Verify the accuracy and completion of verification of payoffs and check requests before processing and distributing checks.
• Generate flooring and posting reports for reconciliation of accounts.
• View, reconcile and post daily and month end accounting.
• Process service contracts applications and cancellations.
• Generate new posting jackets for trade in vehicles.
• Process unwind vehicle transactions by verifying completion and accuracy of paperwork, reversing accounting, and creating new vehicle files.
• Purge deal paperwork for filing.
• Maintain and distribute record of accounting and paperwork errors for purposes of employee training.
• Prepare necessary reports and analysis for month end closing.
• Provide support for and cross train in other business office positions.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
