INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt JOB OVERVIEW: MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect inbound products for obvious defects Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process Perform other tasks as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time Must be tech savvy Must be able to follow written directions and company policies Must have a High School Diploma or equivalentBENEFITS: Healthcare after 60 days of employmentWeekly paychecksEmployee credit each week to bid on our items after 60 days of employment401(k) with employer match after 90 days of employmentEmployee Referral Program5 days PTO after 90 days of employmentMAC.BID is an equal-opportunity workplace.
