Mac Brands is building brands in categories that are reshaping how consumers socialize, relax, celebrate, and unwind while combining functional wellness trends, modern beverage innovation, and disruptive flavor experiences into products consumers are increasingly demanding.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Market Development Manager to help own and drive Mac Brands growth across the Tampa market. This position will service the entire Mac Brands portfolio.
This is not a maintenance role—this is a build-the-market role. You’ll be responsible for opening key accounts, developing distributor relationships, and creating repeatable sales systems that scale.
If you’ve worked inside a spirits brand and know how to move cases—not just talk strategy—this is your lane.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
MARKET DEVELOPMENT
- Lead sales expansion across several Florida markets
- Identify and close high-impact on-premise and off-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, events, liquor retailers, etc)
- Build a strong local presence through consistent market visits and relationship building
- Partner closely with distributors (e.g., Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits)
- Drive distributor engagement, incentives, and accountability
- Ensure Mac Brands are prioritized within distributor portfolios
ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP
- Own account onboarding, menu placements, and staff education
- Develop and execute promotions, tastings, and activations
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers, bartenders, and decision-makers
- Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Track KPIs including depletions, placements, and velocity
- Identify growth opportunities and gaps within each market
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership
BRAND BUILDING
- Act as the face of Mac Brands in the Tampa market and the surrounding markets
- Support events, brand activations, and key partnerships
- Ensure brand consistency and premium positioning across all touchpoints
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience working in the spirits industry
- Experience in tequila is a strong plus
- Proven track record of opening accounts and driving sales growth
- Strong relationships within hospitality operators in market
- Highly self-motivated—you don’t wait for direction, you create momentum
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

- Consistent monthly growth in depletions and placements
