Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, as well as dining room tables.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.41 - $15.00 per hour
