Operations Manager (Plumbing / Electrical / HVAC)
Location: Nationwide Search / Relocation Considered
Pay: $95,000 – $225,000 annually (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing home services organization. This is a leadership opportunity for a proven operator with experience managing teams within a fast-paced residential service business.
We’re looking for candidates with strong operational leadership experience and a background in one of the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
The ideal candidate has experience working within a Nexstar Network company or has held a management role in a Nexstar-affiliated organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations for a residential service business
- Oversee performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team development
- Manage field and office teams to drive efficiency and growth
- Develop and coach department managers and team leaders
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, revenue goals, and operational processes
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and service execution
- Support strategic planning, staffing, and company growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, General Manager, or senior leadership role within a home service company
- Required: Experience with a Nexstar Network company or equivalent Nexstar management experience
- Background in Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC
- Experience leading teams in a company with $15M annual revenue
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Proven ability to drive operational performance and profitability
