We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expo/ Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing empty plates.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Ensure that all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding order status and special requests.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or special functions as needed, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for guests.
- Uphold a positive attitude while providing outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
