We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work in the school setting to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Locally owned contracting company looking for an SLP OR SLPA to provide seevices in Cole Camp, MO. Position is for elementary school. We offer some of the most competitive pay in the area!
Duties
- Evaluate and assess patients' speech, language, and communication abilities through standardized tests and observational methods.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide education and support to families regarding speech development and therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Experience
- A degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
- Must hold current Missouri License.
- CF's are welcome to apply.
- Will consider SLPA
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment is essential for effective practice.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with speech delays or disorders is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams are necessary for success in this role.
