SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, provides individual, group and family therapy for ISS students and families. Also provides Case Management for assigned students. Collaborates and consults with all Ivy Street departments
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual, family therapy and family collaboration for caseload as determined by the Director of Clinical Operations.
- Develop & provide weekly group therapy for ISS students.
- Utilize DBT in clinical work.
- Support families in applying for Social Security benefits and oversee the receipt and spending of Social Security income.
- Meet at least monthly with assigned families to facilitate family collaboration meetings with the student and immediate family. In some cases, engage families in regular family therapy meetings.
- Speak regularly, or at least weekly, with assigned family members to discuss student’s progress towards goals and family concerns.
- Maintain regular contact with collateral agencies and attend all outside provider meetings such as Foster Care Reviews, court hearings, hospital meetings, and transition planning meetings. Send/fax all documentation to DCF as recommended by individual offices.
- Participate in IEP and Treatment planning process. Develop treatment plans (IEP goals as well as family, group, & individual goals)
- Maintain appropriate and timely documentation (e.g. progress notes and treatment narratives) and communications, per program policy.
- Participate in Staff meetings, Team meetings, Mini-team meetings, regular staff trainings and monthly family therapy supervision meetings along with weekly supervision with Director of Clinical Operations.
- Participate in crisis intervention, including verbal and physical management of dangerous behaviors, as needed.
- Provide clinical assessment of students as assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations.
- Participate, with all ISS staff, as a Mandated Reporter of Abuse, if ever the need arises.
- Work to ensure the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic program milieu.
- Perform other duties as required, such as provide class and lunch coverage as needed and assist with transportation to appointments as needed.
- Develop treatment plans and note progress for DCF students through the Virtual Gateway.

RELATED DUTIES
- Attends IEP/Treatment Planning meetings, Staff meetings, and Management Team, as scheduled.
- Meets with the Director of Clinical Operations for supervision on a weekly basis.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION
- Driver’s License
- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC (may be hired without but must be working towards initial licensure)

- Masters in Social Work
Salary : $68,000 - $76,000
