What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Governance Analyst (Software Intake) position at MAASco Tech LLC?
Austin, TX. 4 days a week onsite. 12 month contract offering around $60/hr W2. USC and GC only.
Lead enterprise software intake and lifecycle governance as the primary liaison between business partners and technology teams. Translate complex technical frameworks into clear, actionable processes for nontechnical stakeholders, driving efficient decision making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview business partners to identify software request requirements.
- Facilitate conversations to elicit information from nontechnical stakeholders.
- Translate requirements across peer organizations and business units to accelerate decision making.
- Assign technical leads and operational resources to each software request.
- Advise on approved tools, alternatives, and enterprise standards.
- Apply analytical methods to review and enhance the intake process continuously.
- Detect bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and implement rapid improvements.
- Shorten cycle time and enhance intake process visibility.
- Design and refine governance workflows to boost efficiency and user experience.
- Track and report on request volumes and approval timelines.
- Oversee and lead the enterprise software intake and governance process.
- Manage enterprise technology intake workflows using platforms like ServiceNow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in IT governance, enterprise software management, or IT operations.
- Proven ability to ask the right questions and extract necessary information from nontechnical individuals without relying on overly technical jargon.
- Highly thoughtful and quick to take action; methodical and analytical in approaching process improvement.
- Experience working with enterprise workflow or ITSM platforms.
- Familiarity with software licensing, vendor management, and asset management practices.
