Position Description
Maas Energy Works (MEW) is seeking a Remote Operations Manager to oversee and maintain operations of renewable biomethane gas projects across the western United States. These projects, located on dairy farms, involve processing biomethane gas for use in power generators or delivery through a private natural gas pipeline network. The role involves remote monitoring and troubleshooting of biogas cleanup facilities, metering stations, and biogas gathering networks. Responsibilities include coordinating with field staff, ordering parts and materials, data analysis, and troubleshooting anaerobic digestion processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with natural gas systems, SCADA, and gas plant I&E. RNG experience will be preferred, but high organization and systems awareness are essential.

Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor and troubleshoot issues at assigned digester facilities and cleanup plants
- Communicate regularly with Field Ops Manager and on-site operators to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
- Travel to digester sites and cleanup facilities once per month
- Be company expert in Produce monthly operations reports
- Requires extensive communication via email, text, and phone
- Must be proficient in English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, data management, trend analysis, and report generation
- Experience with Oil & Gas, Natural Gas, or RNG strongly preferred
- SCADA or Plant System I&E experience preferred
- Engineering experience/education is valuable
- Anaerobic digester experience is valuable
- Able to learn customized applications such as Wrike, TeamViewer, Inteli-monitor, and various SCADA equipment.
- Self-motivated
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting experience
- Able to quickly learn extensive industry specific skills and methods.
- Additional proficiency in Spanish is helpful but not required
- Must possess a valid US driver's license
