We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-driven leader with proven success in major gifts and capital campaigns to direct our Advancement program.

THE ROLE
This year-round senior leadership position reports to the Executive Director and plays a key role in CCCBSD’s growth. You’ll lead fundraising, donor engagement, and communications, working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Trustees, and a small, passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate donors and secure major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaign support
  • Oversee grants, corporate sponsorships, and foundation partnerships
  • Manage donor events, annual appeals, and brand communications
  • Supervise the Advancement Associate and Communications Coordinator
  • Partner with the Executive Director and CFO on budgeting and reporting
  • Represent CCCBSD as part of the senior leadership team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree or CFRE a plus)
  • 8–10 years of progressive fundraising experience, including major gifts and capital campaigns
  • Supervisory or team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills across spoken, written, signed, and visual modalities
  • Experience with donor CRMs and data-informed fundraising strategy
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and mission-driven

WHY JOIN US
At CCCBSD, we live our values: Humanity, Belonging, Inclusivity, Collaboration, Integrity, and Excellence. As a Certified Kindness Workplace, we prioritize compassion, respect, and work-life harmony.

We offer:

  • Medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefits
  • Generous paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement and in-service training
  • 5% retirement matching
  • Preschool discounts & free ASL classes
  • Employee referral & longevity bonuses
  • Hybrid schedule: 1 remote day per week

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office-based role with occasional physical activity (e.g., event setup up to 40 lbs.) and participation in emergency drills. Based on our beautiful 7-acre Beverly, MA campus overlooking the Bass River, 18 miles north of Boston.

BACKGROUND CHECK
Employment requires successful completion of Massachusetts CORI and SAFIS fingerprinting checks.
