Required Skills:
- Advanced experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Revit.
- Work experience should emphasize Civil Site design and horizontal projects, such as rail and telecommunications.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiar with the provisions of AASHTHO, ASTM, ACI, ASTM, FHWA, MUTCD, and WBDG UFC codes.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, and techniques.
- Knowledge of technical responsibilities of other disciplines associated with Facilities Design.
- Ability to independently execute the detailed design drawings of Civil Site systems of moderate complexity.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings and specifications.
- Ability to express technical issues clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to resolve design issues with other engineering disciplines, construction, and the client.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 15 or more years of related design experience, Associate of Arts or Science and 11 or more years of related design experience, or Bachelor of Science and 6 or more years of related design experience.
