What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinery Painter (2nd Shift) position at MAAC Machinery?
Rate of Pay: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour (paid weekly).
Overtime Rate: $33.00 to $34.50 per hour.
2nd Shift Schedule:
- Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am.
- Overtime is always available; paid breaks.
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary tasks of the Industrial Machinery Painter involve painting steel machine frames and components within an on-site painting booth.
- Paint the manufactured machinery and components with our "Electro-static" guns.
- Painting takes place in a well-ventilated, well-lighted paint booth within our building.
- The majority of the product to be painted are steel frames.....beams, bars and channels.
- Preparation of surface and materials for painting.
- Clean and maintain paint equipment. Necessary training, equipment, and fit-testing provided.

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Previous experience with industrial painting is a plus.
- Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
