Medical Receptionist - Adult Medicine - Agawam

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: You will play a key front-office role in an Adult Medicine practice, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every patient. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting copays, coordinating referrals and authorizations, and managing patient check-in/check-out. Also supports the clinical team with chart preparation, phone communication, and accurate documentation. Ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. What you will do: Be comfortable with learning new software and ensuring data entry into physician billing software. Provides positive patient experience from screening incoming patient calls to end of visit. Maintain schedules and appointments for physicians. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred. Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.90 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
