Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Mercy Medical Center, Life Labs Springfield, MA Responsible for providing skilled phlebotomy in the Springfield, MA area nursing homes. Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients. Must have dependable transportation. What You Will Do: Receives assignments, obtains required supplies and equipment necessary to carry out task while servicing area nursing homes. Drives personal vehicle to travel to client locations and SPHS facilities. Completes appropriate mileage forms on a daily/weekly basis. Work Hours/Shift: Full-time, Day Shift - Early start-time 4-5am (use of own vehicle, mileage reimbursement is provided) Requirements: High school or GED, completion of phlebotomy program Nat'l Phlebotomy Certification preferred. Valid driver’s license in good standing required by the Commonwealth of MA. Technical training in Phlebotomy Program, 1 year of experience, preferred. Strong interpersonal skills; strong phlebotomy skills. Adaptability and flexibility necessary for work schedule and patient care requirements. Good command of the English language and medical terminology.
