Position Overview
M5B Global, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Access Control Officer (ACO) to support the U.S. Army Cyber Protection Brigade (USACPB) Access Control Services contract at Fort Eisenhower, GA. This role provides physical access control and visitor management support to the Cyber Protection Battalion and 11th Cyber Warfare Battalion (11 CWB) across multiple controlled facilities.
The ACO is responsible for ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) physical security requirements, enforcing access control procedures, and maintaining the integrity of controlled spaces supporting sensitive cyber operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Access Control Officer will perform duties including, but not limited to:
- Control access of personnel, equipment, and media entering and exiting controlled spaces.
- Execute USACPB and 11 CWB entry/exit program requirements, including inspections of computers, network equipment, and media in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct visual inspections of book bags, handbags, briefcases, and similar items to prevent the introduction of prohibited items, hazardous materials, or unauthorized devices.
- Verify personnel credentials and ensure individuals possess the appropriate badge and authorization for facility access.
- Validate personnel security clearances and visitor access using Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or its successor system, National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).
- Provide escort services to uncleared personnel in accordance with established security procedures.
- Issue visitor badges in compliance with controlled space access procedures.
- Deny entry of unauthorized Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) and report violations in accordance with SOPs.
- Support and execute Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAMs), including random perimeter inspections at unpredictable times and documentation of findings.
- Open, secure, and maintain controlled spaces using CDX-series locks, ICIDS alarms, and required security documentation.
- Monitor ICIDS alarm and annunciation panels and notify appropriate authorities in accordance with established procedures.
- Document and report all security-related activities to the cognizant security officer and military police, as required, and maintain accurate logbook entries.
- Complete mandatory security awareness, Intelligence Oversight, and safety training requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Access Control Officer or in a comparable security role.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate written reports.
- Experience or formal training in the protection of personnel, facilities, and equipment.

Ability to successfully complete specialized training for:
- Security Management Systems (SMS)
- ICIDS alarms, CCTV systems, and access control features
- Government-furnished X-ray devices, screening equipment, and Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS)
- Proficiency with office automation tools including word processing, email, spreadsheets, presentations, and electronic recordkeeping.
- Experience using security-related systems such as DISS, NBIS, or similar platforms.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- Must be SCI eligible or able to obtain SCI access.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for Top Secret clearance eligibility at this location.
